Ambitions might be dangerous depending on the situation. If someone is eager to get a promotion, it will drive him to be a selfish person. He might give his junior colleague lots of work, so he can use these to decorate himself as if he does it. As a result, his supervisor will consider him as one of the people next in line. I don't like this kind of person who is eager to get a promotion.
When I was young, I heard "Boys be ambitious". Young people must have an ambition. If somebody want to draw a cat, I will say to draw a tiger instead. The more you have a big ambition, the more you get something. In addition, ambition is the driving force for people to live a purpose-driven life without it our lives has no meaning at all. |
